Electronic Recycling
Sustainable Solutions for a Digital World
In today’s rapidly advancing technological world, electronic devices are becoming obsolete faster than ever, leading to an unprecedented increase in electronic waste. At Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery, we understand the importance of sustainable recycling practices and are proud to provide innovative and comprehensive solutions through our dedicated recycling facility.
Why Recycle Electronics?
Electronic waste, often called E-Waste, is laden with dangerous substances like lead, mercury, and cadmium, posing significant risks to our environment and human health when not disposed of with care.
Recycling reclaims valuable materials from old electronics for manufacturing new products, reducing the need to mine new raw materials.
By choosing to recycle your e-waste with us, you ensure responsible recycling, as we are committed to a process that stands leagues above the rest. We pride ourselves on adhering to the highest standards in e-waste resource recovery, far surpassing the practices of other collectors. Don’t just leave your electronics with anyone—trust in our recycling process to safeguard our communities and protect the environment.
In 2023, We Diverted Over 235,000 Pounds of E-Waste for Recycling
Our facility welcomes a wide range of electronic devices for recycling, including but not limited to:

What Happens Next?
Our facility rigorously sorts each item into specific categories and prepares them for delivery to specialized recyclers. Our partners skillfully extract precious metals such as gold, silver, and copper from circuit boards. Additionally, they recycle plastics and glass and safely remove hazardous substances to protect our environment. This careful dismantling allows for repurposing materials for new products, closing the recycling loop and reducing the need for new resources. Through our partnerships, the region’s electronic waste is diverted from landfills and repurposed for environmental sustainability, ensuring the intelligent reuse of electronic components.
