Attention Marsh Creek: Your new food waste recycling program starts on May 15th, 2024.

You can place your food waste, food-soiled paper, and landscape trimmings into your green bags. 

Our MDRR truck collects your garbage cart and your blue and green bags. Upon arrival at our resource recovery facility, we sort the contents and open the bags. We add your organic waste to its designated pile for preprocessing. After completing this step, the material goes to our partnering compost facility, which converts it into soil-enriching compost.
