Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery has exclusive contracts with the City of Concord, Pittsburg, and Oakley to provide general and construction and demolition boxes to businesses and residents within the city limits.

The 6yd container is a one-price solution that includes delivery, removal, and disposal of the material.

Unacceptable Materials

Batteries, E-waste, U-waste, pressure treated wood, bulky items, appliances, Construction & Demolition (C&D), liquid, sludge, hazardous or infectious waste.

Our open-top container comes in a 20yd. You pay for the delivery, haul, and weight of the material.

Homeowners may keep the box for two days (not including the day of delivery or container removal).

All of our Construction & Demolition (C&D) boxes go through our dedicated recovery line for building materials, where most of the material is recovered or recycled. Our sorting line makes it easy to comply with construction recycling ordinances. We provide FREE diversion letters, weight reports, and for a small fee, individual weight tickets.

Treated Wood Waste (TWW) Box Dimensions

Treated Wood Waste Info

Although changes in State law prohibit treated wood from being accepted at most transfer stations and landfills, our 1300 Loveride Processing Facility is permitted to accept Treated Wood Waste. We proudly offer hauling and disposal services for Treated Wood Waste (TWW).

Wood treated with a chemical preservative for protection against pests and environmental conditions is called treated wood. Treated wood that has reached the end of its usefulness is regarded as treated wood waste or TWW and should be disposed of only at composite-lined solid waste landfills.

Examples of TWW include some form of:

  • Fence posts
  • Still plates
  • Landscape timbers
  • Pilings
  • Guardrails
  • Decking

Our 1300 Loverdige Processing Facility is permitted to accept Treated Wood Waste.

As a requirement of the Department of Toxic Substances Control and the State of California, each customer must provide specific information to the disposal site.

Additional Item Fees
