Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery proudly celebrates America Recycles Day® (ARD) with our annual Free E-Waste Recycling Drop-Off Event.

Clear out the clutter and recycle your old electronics the right way, for free. From laptops and televisions to printers and cell phones, we’ll take care of your e-waste responsibly so it doesn’t sit in storage or end up in the landfill.

America Recycles Day is a nationally recognized event dedicated to encouraging mindful consumption and proper recycling. Observed every year on and around November 15, it’s a time to take simple steps that make a big difference for our environment and our community.

• Open to all residents – near or far.
• Residential drop-off only – no business or commercial e-waste.

Pro Tip: Donate Before You Recycle

If your electronics still work, consider donating them before recycling. A friend, family member, local nonprofit, or online community board (Craigslist, FreeCycle, Facebook) can give your device a second life.

Please note that due to special handling and processing required by law, we cannot accept items such as hazardous waste, large appliances, batteries, or building and construction debris at this event.
