Recycle Electronics the Right Way!

Improper disposal of electronic waste (e-waste) can harm both the environment and public health. In California, strict regulations govern the disposal of electronic items because they often contain hazardous materials, such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. These substances can leach into the soil and water supply if not handled correctly.

Do Not Place Electronics in Collection Containers: Electronic items should never be discarded in your trash or recycling. This includes televisions, computers, printers, cell phones, and other electronic devices.
