Concord Residential Drop-off Event
Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery and the City of Concord invite residents to participate by registering for our Residential Drop-Off Event. This exciting event is a FREE and convenient opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted household materials responsibly.
Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Rain or Shine)
Location: Toyota Pavilion at Concord, 2000 Kirker Pass Rd, Concord
Contra Costa Health will be collecting tires at this event.
Event Highlights:
- Free disposal opportunity for Concord residents.
- One trip per household (Registration confirmation and active MDRR services required).
- We will accept household garbage.
- On-site staff will assist with check-in and directions for off-loading.

Important Information:
- Open to Concord residents only with active MDRR service.
- We require the MDRR account holder to register.
- Please arrive within your reserved time slot to keep traffic moving efficiently.
- If your availability changes, please cancel your reservation. Space is limited, and no-shows prevent other households from participating.

Items Not Accepted at This Event
MDRR cannot accept the following materials at this event due to special handling requirements:
- Household hazardous waste
- E-waste, universal waste, and batteries
- Auto parts, boats, or vehicle components
- Building and construction materials (e.g., sheetrock, carpet, flooring, concrete, dirt, rock, brick)
- Appliances, microwaves, and AC units
- Treated wood waste

Our Recycling Center and Transfer Station is open 7 days a week for building materials, appliances, and treated wood waste (fees apply).

We encourage you to donate items that are in good or working condition. Local charities, friends, family, and online community groups like Craigslist, FreeCycle, or Facebook are excellent options for giving your items a second life.
