Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery recently hosted its 6th Annual Backpack & School Supply Giveaway, welcoming families from across the region to receive free backpacks and essential school supplies ahead of the new school year.

With strong community support from the Pittsburg Police Department and First Tee Contra Costa, this year’s event was our most successful yet, helping more students than ever before.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and proud to support youth in the communities we serve and in neighboring areas.
