Repair is a powerful way to reduce waste, and we’re proud to team up with Sustainable Contra Costa and the City of Pittsburg for the Pittsburg Repair Workshop.

This free community event promotes reuse, waste reduction, and resource conservation by helping residents repair everyday household items instead of discarding them. Skilled volunteers will be available to assist with common repairs and help extend the life of well-loved items.

Repair workshops support sustainability by keeping repairable materials out of the landfill, reducing demand for new products, and sharing practical skills within the community.

Items commonly accepted for repair include:

• Jewelry
• Clothing and textiles
• Toys
• Lamps
• Small household items
