Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery is excited to announce a new free recycling program exclusively for Rio Vista residents. You can now drop off your empty prescription bottles at our Rio Vista office at no charge.

By capturing your empty prescription bottles through our new drop-off program, we divert them from the landfill and process them through a dedicated recycling pathway separate from your blue cart.

The dedicated drop-off container is located inside our office lobby.

Where: 100 Main Street, Rio Vista, CA 94571
When: Weekdays from 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM.

What to bring

Bottles must be empty before drop-off. No medicine of any kind should remain inside. We cannot accept bottles containing any remaining medication.

• Empty prescription bottles only
• Remove all personal information
• Place bottles directly in the drop-box container. Please, no bags.
