Save the Date! As the back-to-school season swiftly approaches, we invite you to our 5th Annual Book Bag + School Supply Giveaway! This event is open to everyone and aims to give students the essentials they need to kickstart their academic year on the right note.

When: Saturday, July 27, 2024 – 9:00 AM – 12 Noon
Where: 555 California Ave, Pittsburg – Reuse Center (rear of building)

No Registration Required. Supplies Are Limited  – Drop by and enjoy the bounty of gently used educational resources we’ve gathered.

Our giveaway is not just about providing free, reusable supplies; it’s a testament to our dedication to resource recovery. Reuse is a big part of the sustainability puzzle and is one example of how we are optimizing the use of the materials we collect and process.

Throughout the year, our Reuse Program diligently gathers a variety of reusable school supplies, which are later redistributed through our network of more than 20 partnering nonprofit organizations and during this annual event. We are taking significant steps towards a more sustainable future, one backpack at a time.
